Sunday, 29 June 2008, 10:00 Malet Street, Central London Bus demonstation: 60 years of Nakba Join the bus on 29 June in central London to highlight Israel's oppression of the Palestinian people as Israel celebrates its 60th anniversary. Three double decker buses will drive around central London, covered with banners highlighting the 60 years of Nakba and Israel’s crimes against the people of Palestine. Black balloons will be attached to the bus, to mirror the marking of the Nakba in Palestine. Join us on the buses!!! Cyclists — please also come and follow the buses. The buses will leave from Malet Street at 10 am. This event has been organised by Action Palestine, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the Twinning Network, the Palestinian Forum of Britain, the Palestine Return Center, the British Muslim Initiative and NUS.
